Description

Updated for the 2024 Solar Eclipse!

2017 Eclipse:

Our school is celebrating the Solar Eclipse Together in Nebraska. We are doing several activities including putting together this lapbook that not only teaches about solar eclipses but will also be a keepsake the kids can take home and save.

The PowerPoint goes through and explains an eclipse in simplified terms. I also included the link to a video onYouTube that we will watch. As we go through the PowerPoint, students will put together the lapbook.

This is for early elementary but our upper grades will be doing it too.

We live in Oregon and are right in the path of the eclipse. My students were so excited to learn about eclipses and now they can’t wait for Saturday morning. Many of them went home to teach their parents about it also.
