Solar System Preschool Activity Build your own solar system!

This is a model of the solar system, this includes the Planets, & the Sun. All you need for these models is:

- some printing paper. I would recommend card stock or something similar

- Felt, to give the models some durability

- Glue, to paste the planets to their respective arrow, and the paper to the felt (hot glue for best results)

- scissors,

- a wire, this wire would go through the sun and the ends of the arrows to allow for the circular motion of the planets

This was a great activity to use to wrap up our unit on the planets. My students really enjoyed the bright colors and that they were able to match the planets' names to the visual of the planet. There was only one suggestion I have. We used brass fasteners to assemble the craft and the labels were pretty small which made it hard to get the labels on the fasteners. I would only recommend making the labels and planets bigger to make assembly a bit easier.
