This mini research project for the solar system is a great center or large group activity. Students need practice locating information from various sources and this project meets those needs.

After the research is completed, the students assemble the project into a fan booklet. The sun, planets (sorry Pluto), moon and asteroid belt are included in this product. Students can research all of the above topics or print just a few to accommodate all learners. Reading passages are not included.

There is also a sheet of writing paper if you would like to extend this project further.
