Description

Thanks for visiting! Looking for a great activity for sick, snow or sub days? Look no further.

As a visual, kinesthetic learner myself, I continually structure my classroom bent towards these learning styles. My students are constantly working with their hands, getting up and moving around to different stations for projects or labs. In addition, I use simulations online, and videos, but simulations are EXCELLENT ways to introduce, reinforce, or review topics and units. Besides the information, they are EXTREMELY engaging, interactive and fun!

The simulation for this activity can found at the following website:

Solar System Scale Model Simulation!

The activity I created follows the simulation step by step, and as students progress, asks detailed questions which require written responses. Kids will manipulate certain aspects of the simulation, and videos will sometimes be required to watch. It's perfect for sick, snow or sub days!

Thanks again for visiting, and be sure to visit my other interactive simulations covering topics in Biology, Astronomy and Forensics!
