This pack is centered around a unit assessment of Louisiana State Standards 53, 54, 55, and 56. Even if you do not teach in Louisiana, your state standards are probably very similar, as most are.

The following items are included:

- Unit Assessment: Closely aligned to standards and includes answer key. Please note that there is a comprehension writing portion at the end of this test. This can be used however you would like. It can be treated as a simple short answer or as full essay prompt. I have even graded it as a writing grade in the past.

- Study Guide: If you are not a science person this tool was made for you! In my personal classroom, I have the kids fill out the study guide as we go. It keeps me on track, in the right order, and on standards. Less bunny trails that way :) Lesson planning made easy! This can be a good review time for the lesson just taught, or can serve as a good partner activity to wrap your lesson up. The best part is, after you have finished teaching everything on this study guide, the students have everything they need to prepare for the test. Another way this could be used is all at one time for a review prior to the test. However works best for you and your students! This also includes an answer key, so if space is not your thing, I have all the facts together for you in one place!

- Flash Cards : In my personal classroom, I use these cards the day before the test. Either we review as a whole group or I let them partner up to complete the cards. They are a great tool for review, quizzing each other, and studying at home before the test. Whatever you do with them, they are made to be a quick and simple review. However works best for you and your students!
