Solve it, Prove it, Pop it is a paperless no prep game that is perfect to get students engaged in using proper vocabulary and math talk. Students love competing with their partner and getting to use one of their favorite toys in the process. Using this digital activity with white boards and pop it fidgets is sure to breath some fun and life into your math lesson or review.

You can use this activity as:

· A quick review of previously taught skills

· Informal assessment of students knowledge of math vocabulary

· A fun addition to your math lessons

· An engaging academic brain break by allowing partners to use movement between questions

What's included:

  • Powerpoint slideshow with problems to project
  • PDF version of powerpoint
  • Teacher instructions and links for suggested pop-it fidgets

How to play:

The slideshow will give students a problem to solve independently on their whiteboard. Then it will prompt them to “prove it” to their partners using math talk. If their answer matches the board they get to POP one bubble on their side of the pop it board. At the end of the game, the partner who was able to pop the most, wins!

This Solve it, Prove it, Pop it includes practice with doubles 0 to 10.
