This editable 8th grade math (pre-algebra) foldable notes, provide students with an organized set of notes and practice problems for solving multi-step equations with variables on one side of the equation. The top tab provides steps and a guided example. The bottom two tabs provide 8 practice problems organized by equations involving integers and equations involving rational numbers.

These notes work perfect within interactive math notebooks or as a standalone resource! I use this type of assignment during whole group guided instruction, but it would also work great for intervention, small group, centers, or during a tutoring session.

This download includes a print + go PDF version, as well as the editable PowerPoint file.
