Included in this product are 16 Solve & Search cards, a student recording sheet, and an answer key. Simply print, laminate, cut apart, and the activity is ready to go!
Students move around the room solving equations and then searching for the card that has the matching answer. They repeat the process until they have circled through all of the cards, ending up back at the card they started with. Students enjoy being able to move around frequently, and the answer search also provides a way for students to self-check and know immediately if they need assistance.
Cards contain multi-step equations with one variable and target the following skills:
~combining like terms
~distributive property
~solving equations with fraction and decimal coefficients
~integer operations
