Are you looking for digital activities that are engaging and interactive? Solve to Create allows students to solve word problems in a FUN way. These activities are provided in PowerPoint, SEESAW, and Google Slides.
Solve to Create is an engaging way for students to solve word problems. They have 6 word problems to solve. Students read the word problem, show their work by inserting text boxes, drawing on the slide, or inserting shapes (that's up to you), and type in the answer on the slide. After they have solved each word problem, they create a pumpkin by moving the shapes. As they move the shapes the answers to the word problems are revealed!
We have created word problems within the unit for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades. AND there is an editable version so you can type in your own word problems.
All the Info:
Power Point Users: There is a file for each grade level that you can simply open up and use... or add them to your Google Account/Platform of choice
SEESAW Users: These activities are preloaded. With just a click (that is provided) you can save and assign the activities
GOOGLE Users: You can download the files directly to your Google account with just the click of a button! Or you can manually add the PowerPoints if you prefer that!
VIDEO Directions: I have included a screen recording video for both platforms listed above so that you know exactly how to use these resources.
