This guide really helped my struggling students when they began the process of solving simple 2 step equations. Used with a dry erase pocket or laminated, it can be used over and over again. Students write the problem in the first row, then the reminders guide them to the next steps until they find the solution and solve for the variable.

I found students were more confident in solving the equations after they had used the guides for a little while.
