Description

Solving compound inequalities, especially writing their solution sets, can be difficult for students. This set of notes has been made to provide additional examples and practice for students, and also takes a deeper look at compound inequalities by including special case solutions to really get students thinking. This resource has 12 examples included!

★I typically use this set of notes directly following this foldable

All examples have been thoughtfully chosen to generate discussions about misconceptions and common mistakes, and the notes themselves have been designed to fit perfectly in an interactive notebook. Examples have been specifically chosen to help students with distinguishing when they will need to flip the inequality symbol, along with other common mistakes.

Do your students need extra help with inequalities?
