Description
This CCSS aligned 2 LESSON AND 1 ASSESSMENT BUNDLE focuses on rewriting simple, one-step equations for a given variable and a review of order of operations using variables and solving multi-step equations (beginning with solving a two step problem, then working with combining like terms and the distributive property prior to solving).
Zero prep for you! Simply print, handout, and utilize the answer key as needed! Back to distance learning? Students can print out at home, use a site to write on the PDF, or save them to a Google Slide to take notes!
Included in the Bundle:
- 2 guided note lessons (3 pages total)
- 2 student-led pages for scaffolded beginning practice
- 4 worksheets for additional independent practice (scaffolded problems with detailed, higher order thinking questions)
- 2 homework pages (one for each lesson)
- 1 quiz with answer key
These are typically my first 2 lessons I teach in the year to help students review their learning from previous years, introduce the concept to others, and make sure we are on the same page going forward as this is one of the most critical building block skills! This bundle is the beginning portion in a larger Simple Equations unit, which includes tests, quizzes, homework, guided notes, worksheets, and student data tracking, that you can find in my store!
