Description
Students learn the features of inverse operations and practice solving one and two-step equations to find unknown values (pronumerals). This resource is a lesson scaffold which ideally accompanies the editable PPT lesson, which follows an 'I do, We do, You do' structure in which students will:
- identify inverse operations
- collectively learn and practice the solve process for one and two-step equations
- complete a short 'check for understanding' when solving equations
- consolidate their skills through the differentiated task provided
- option to extend practice opportunities through linked desmos activities.
