Description

Do you want students to practice solving exponential equations in an exciting way? BINGO is a fun and engaging way to learn any math topic. In this activity, students will solve for the exponent in an exponential equation by using logarithms. Word problems include: exponential growth and decay, half-life, and compound interest.

There are 30 unique BINGO Boards ready to be printed for students. This will allow more time for students to solve problems.

Directions:

  • Hand out unique BINGO game boards to each student in the class.
  • Hand out math problems to each student.
  • Open the Google Slides BINGO game.
  • Call out a letter and students will solve the question that corresponds with that letter.
  • The answer to the question corresponds to a number on student’s game board. If the number is on their game board, they may cross out the box.
  • Keep track of the questions you called.
  • First student to get 5 in a row wins! (Make sure to check the students game board for the correct answers.
