Description
Students will solve two step inequalities involving whole numbers. Once they have determined the range of values that make the inequalities true, they will be able to solve the riddle. These worksheets allows students to self check their work and provides an opportunity for the teacher to do a quick and easy assessment of student understanding.
Common Core Curriculum:
6.EE.A.2
Write, read, and evaluate expressions in which letters stand for numbers.
6.EE.B.5
Understand solving an equation or inequality as a process of answering a question: which values from a specified set, if any, make the equation or inequality true? Use substitution to determine whether a given number in a specified set makes an equation or inequality true.
Ontario Curriculum Expectations:
C2.4
solve inequalities that involve two operations and whole numbers up to 100
