Description

Solving one-step equations is one of my favorite things to teach! It is so fun to watch my students discover how to use inverse equations to solve for an unknown variable. These notes and practice pages act as a great introduction for students who are unfamiliar with this essential skill. I use this resource with my 6th graders while introducing how to solve one-step equations. After completion, my students move onto more hands-on activities or other practice pages to continue perfecting this new concept.

The layout of this resource is user friendly so students can reference their notes at a later time when they need a quick review. There are two formats included in this resource. This resource comes in the typical 8.5x11 size, as well as a shrunk down version of 4.25x5.5 to fit in composition notebooks if needed for interactive notebooks.

Student answer sheet is included. Answer Key is included.
