Description
This Solving Rational Equations is designed to build your students' skills and proficiency on this topic with three different versions of the activity, a self checking digital pixel art activity, printable Task Cards, and a traditional printable worksheet.
There are 12 problems for your students to solve with a variety of monomial, binomial, and trinomial denominators. Your students will need to be able to solve quadratic equations and check for extraneous solutions. There are no complex solutions.
In the digital version, as students enter the correct answer into the Google sheet, the answer cell lights up green and parts of the puzzle are unscrambled. An incorrect answer turns the cell red and students must try again. When the problems are completed correctly students know they have them all correct as the answer cells are all green and the fun picture is completely unscrambled.
