Description
This is a one-sided worksheet designed to be done in pairs. The students use a different color colored pencil and help each other graph their line (they each graph one line per question then trade papers). This is a great activity to introduce solving systems by graphing because all the student needs to know is how to graph a line.
There are 6 examples. Examples include equations that need to be modified such as 2y = 4x + 8, horizontal and vertical lines, and lines written in both slope-intercept and point-slope form. It is a good review of graphing while teaching the solving systems by graphing concept. Since the students work together, the work is not as intimidating. Key included.
Also included, 6 more questions that can be used as independent practice. These two sheets can be run off front to back for a one day lesson over the concept.
