Solving Trigonometric Equations Maze - A Spring-Themed Activity:

Your PreCalculus students will solve 16 Trigonometric Equations with single angles over the interval from [0, 2π).

Equations include a variety of trig functions, factoring, and quadratic-type. The activity has a corresponding Spring-themed Maze for students to follow when the student response page is completed. There are two different mazes in the resource with unique questions.

This is a fun approach to review Trigonometric Equations before the end of your unit on Trigonometric Functions and Graphs.

  • 2 Different Blank Worksheets with 16 problems
  • Spring-themed Maze Blanks
  • Answer Key for Mazes
  • Answer keys with detailed steps

Options for using this resource

Students will get practice for solving trigonometric equations and have some great fun with a brain break on the maze. This will help them verify their solutions are correct. The blank student handout can be used as a review, a homework assignment or a quiz. You might also want to use this as a plan for your substitute or as a review assignment!

This maze was great practice for my students. I really liked the way this maze was set up. It gave space for my students to work. Sometimes with mazes, they try to "squeeze" their work in the space provided.
