Solving Two Step Equations Matching *Google Classroom* Distance Learning

Description

Like many of you, I'm using distance learning to continue providing my students with an education. I've assigned this activity as an interactive way for my students to review solving two step equations. Students will click and drag the 1st step and 2nd step needed to solve the equation and then determine the solution and click and drag that as well. There are two slides in this resource with a total of 6 equations. There are extra steps and solutions on each slide so students cannot just use process of elimination on the last equation.

This was a new and fun way for students to practice solving two step equations. It provided visuals for them to choose from. It is good to use at the beginning stages of instruction as student will not to rely on their total memory in order to solve the problems. It was fun!
