Description
This 7th-grade partner activity provides students with the opportunity to solve 16 two-step equation story problems that have distributive property and combining like terms.
Partners will work on the odd questions together because the questions and answers are exactly the same. The even questions should be done individually because each partner has different questions. If students correctly solve the problems, they will get the same answers, making these activities self-checking. If students do not arrive at the same answers, they should work together to resolve any errors in their reasoning.
