Description

Sorting (categorizing), organizing, representing and interpreting data are just 4 of the many math skills addressed in this St. Patrick's Day activity set.

Sort, Count, Tally, Graph is a hands on activity aligned with measurement and data standards from Common Core. In this activity students will use picture cards (or a collage of pictures), sort them in like groups, count, and record their data in a tally chart. Once the tally chart is complete, they will interpret that data by completing a graph. Then the data will represented in a graph. Once the graph is created they will answer questions about the information from the graph (most, least, addition).

Teacher directions and suggestions are also included. Be sure to download the preview to see a snapshot of all pages included in this download.

When you purchase this item, you will receive both full color and black and white pages of each activity in the set. This gives you more printing options.

My class LOVED THIS! They had so much fun counting, graphing and answering the questions about St. pat's Day. It was differentiated enough, that most of my 12:1 class was able to work independently.
