Description

Graphing-Sorting-Data Sets

This pack contains two sets of graphing sorts – one about pets and one about weather.

Each set includes a full color sort, a black and white sort, a blank copy with data only, and a cut and paste sort with all of the black and white pages.

Each sort page includes a data set, a tally chart, a graph, and a written description of some of the data.

These varied pages allow for differentiation.

Suggestions for Use:

Use the full color sort as a station activity.

The black and white version is easy on the printer and increases the challenge for students by removing color cues.

The blank version allows students to organize the data themselves into the tally chart and graph. Then, they can write about the results.

The black and white full set sort can be used as an assessment after students have had a chance to practice with the color sets.
