This is a book unit on Sounder written by William H. Armstrong. It is based on the Common Core Standards. It includes a numbered packet (13 pages) that has a different reading strategy for each chapter. It is intended to use during Guided Reading. The book is leveled 5.3 and is a guided reading level of (T). Reading Strategies include:
