Do you need a great set of pictures to introduce or review your study of planets and heavenly bodies? Space Write the Room is a resource that combines practice, movement, and fun.
Hang these space picture cards in various spots in your classroom. Your students then read and write the room using one of the four differentiated response sheets.
What's Included?
- 20 space science - themed cards, in both color and black/white
- answer card
- 4 differentiated response sheets
- picture cues
- without picture cues
- tracing the response words (10 responses per sheet)
- one without card - identifying letters in case you don't want to post all 20 cards
- 1 drawing/writing extension
Pictured space cards include: asteroid, astronaut, Earth, Jupiter, man on the moon, Mars, Mercury, meteor, moon, Neptune, Pluto - dwarf planet, rocket, satellite, Saturn, space shuttle, stars, Sun, telescope, Uranus, Venus.
♦ The resource can also be used as task cards at a writing center.
♦ You can also place the cards in sensory bin and have the students find them and record on the response sheets.
♦ For individualized use with students on the autism spectrum or other developmental delays, set up the desired number of cards in a work box.
As with any resource, preview it before using to see if there are any vocabulary words your particular students might not be familiar with.
