This was a great resource for more exposure to cognates in context rather than just seeing them in a vocabulary list. Students felt successful and they were also able to work on this individually and in a group.

Great warm-up activity. Partway through the year one of my top flyers asked if he could write a warm-up on the board for us to translate, and it started a little fad of students begging to be the warm-up author of the day.
