This Google Doc includes a checklist to keep students focused on what to do for each part of their food menu project in Spanish, plus a scoring rubric.

I used this checklist and rubric with elementary students, and they were very successful with staying focused, creating amazing food menus, and they always knew what was expected of them and how they were going to be scored. Nevertheless, the Google Doc is editable and you may make changes according to your students grade levels and abilities.

Projects can be done in blank paper, to give students the chance to be very creative, and create their own designs and ideas. However, giving them a guide such as checklist allows them to stay focused and know the expectations during the whole process of creating food menus in Spanish.
