Description
Spatial Concepts looks at the position of objects in relation to ourselves, other objects, and in space! With this interactive workbook, learners get to position the velcro pieces themselves to explore the relation of objects in relation to other objects. This task includes the following concepts:
receptively labeling positions of objects with prepositional phrases (on, in, next to, in front of, behind, under)
physically placing objects that match the model
matching photos of corresponding prepositions
negation: finding the picture that does not belong in the categories on, under, next to
life skills: placing objects in the kitchen based on the preposition in the direction
matching locations (match pictures to in/next to)
visual perception block cards: match to sample (an ABLLS-R task!)
printed photos using magnet tiles/colored blocks for learners to copy the model
This product is part of a larger math bundle that is wonderful for exposing reluctant learners to math concepts that are split into 7 subdomains. Each subdomain is trained explicitly with each interactive workbook!
Enjoy!
