Description

After typing in their name so it appears on the screen, students will walk through a lab that allows them to determine the concentration of an unknown solution based on dilution data obtained from a spectrophotometer. This includes “pouring” solutions, putting cuvettes into the machine, creating dilutions, and collecting data. From there, students can perform the necessary calculations with real time feedback. Incorrect answers are marked red while correct answers are marked green and hints and feedback are given to assist students. Each trial is different giving students additional opportunities to practice but also meaning students have different data and must solve on their own.
