This Speed, Acceleration, and Velocity Racing Activity is a fun and engaging way to practice calculating and graphing speed, acceleration, and velocity. This product includes 20 questions about speed, acceleration, and velocity in a racetrack format for engagement. Ideal for Grades 6-8. There is a PowerPoint version, a color PDF version with answer sheet, and a Google Slides version. This resource has print and digital compatibility. No prep necessary. However, cutouts are included to create stations/centers if desired. There are 10 cars on the track with 2 questions each. An answer key is provided.

This lesson makes speed problems fun. There is no prep required for this lesson. The PowerPoint and Google Slides versions are for digital use. With the digital version, students must hold control while clicking on each car to avoid using presentation mode. The PDF is printable. The PDF is available in color only. Students will love this racing activity!

Fun Idea for Print Version:

Print cards and laminate if desired. Place the cars and question cards around the room and have students race to complete the questions for each car on their answer sheets. The first student or group done receives the trophy.
