Two-in-one resource that locks in motion vocabulary for good

The foldable notes plus card sort combination in this resource covers speed, velocity, and acceleration in a way that moves students through multiple levels of understanding rather than stopping at definitions. I used the foldable for initial instruction and then ran the card sort the following day as a review and differentiation activity — the pair worked seamlessly together. Students who needed extra repetition benefited from handling the cards and sorting them into categories, while stronger students were able to work independently and self-check. The interactive notes format integrates well into existing binders or notebooks. A longer card sort set would make the activity stretch more easily to a full period, but what's there is well-designed. Physical science and physics teachers will find this a versatile, low-prep tool for motion fundamentals.
