Description

Simple, to the point, and engaging with fun GIFs! The space-themed PowerPoint slideshow reviews the definitions and units of measurement for Speed, Velocity, and Acceleration. Each definition is followed by a sample problem with fun, moving GIFs to hold students' attention. The PowerPoint is completely editable if you'd like to add more word problems.

With the new Integrated NGSS model, there isn't any stress on learning these formulas, but it makes the discussion of Forces in the Universe much easier to understand when student know how to calculate velocity and acceleration. It also make our "Newton's Asteroid Crash" unit easy to solve! Check back for that Performance Task soon!
