Description
It is very important for students to remember their addition facts, but there never seem to be enough practice activities available. This fun digital drag and drop task card set will allow students to practice their addition facts, from 1+1 through 20+20, with scaffolded support if needed. Each slide features a single addition problem, and students are required to fill the web with the correct number of spiders (to represent the answer using objects), as well as type the numerical answer. A slide at the beginning reminds students they can use modeling to help them (this slide can be deleted) and two webs are provided on each slide. The spiders on the slide are actually a pile of spiders with more than enough to drag and drop onto the webs for every problem.
The slides present the facts in random order. To practice fewer facts, simply delete the unwanted slides before sharing with students. Always be sure to make a copy first, and do your deletion on the copy, not the original!
To use this activity, first make a copy for each student and give them editing rights. Students will need to leave the activity in edit mode in order to move the spiders. Be sure to give students instructions on how you want the activity returned to you.
