Description

This sports math baseball statistics activity is perfect for engaging your sports enthusiasts! Students explore and compute different baseball statistics using real numbers from the 2024 season, and apply these analytics with higher-order thinking questions. Students will enjoy seeing players they know and the real-life stats, and the higher order thinking questions will have them making connections in no time!

This activity is great for enrichment, during baseball season, or for after testing season. It will engage your sports lovers as well as those students who like to know the ins and outs of everything! The math required for this activity is accessible by middle school and beyond (even some upper elementary!), but the topic keeps it engaging for all levels.

This activity is available in both print and digital options (designed for Google Slides) and includes an answer key. Truly, a no-prep activity!
