Can AI make you a better athlete — or does thinking smart beat the algorithm?
In this engaging 2-day STEM investigation, students run four physical performance tests — sprint speed, vertical jump, agility, and reaction time — then split into two groups. One group uses AI tools to analyse technique and generate improvement advice. The other relies on observation, peer feedback, and trial-and-error. On Day 2 they retest, compare results, and find out which approach produced greater gains.
The lesson combines biomechanics, data collection, statistical analysis, and genuine critical thinking about AI — all in a context students immediately care about.
