Make practicing 2-digit addition with regrouping engaging and active with this fun Spring-themed SCOOT game! Students move around the room solving addition problems while enjoying bright seasonal visuals like bunnies, eggs, chicks, and flowers.

This activity is perfect for keeping students engaged while practicing important addition skills during the spring season. Students solve a new problem at each station and record their answers on the included recording sheet.

The set includes 26 task cards (A–Z) featuring 2-digit addition with regrouping.

  • 🏫 Teacher Directions (How to Play SCOOT)
  1. Print and cut the 26 task cards. Laminate for durability if desired.
  2. Place one task card at each desk or station around the classroom.
  3. Give each student a recording sheet and a pencil.
  4. Students start at a card and solve the addition problem shown.
  5. They record their answer in the matching letter box on their recording sheet.
  6. After about 30–60 seconds, say “SCOOT!”
  7. Students move to the next card and solve the new problem.
  8. Continue until students have completed all cards or time is up.
  9. Review answers using the included answer key.

  • Set a timer for smoother transitions.
  • Play music during movement between stations.
  • Use as a whole class game, math center, review activity, or test prep.
