This was a great way to reinforce what I'd been teaching, but students were still struggling to grasp.
Fun activity to review in the spring and it's fun when the kids are able to color in math class.

This is a great resource for review on simplifying expressions for anytime of the year. It's great since many students have gotten bored or overwhelmed with digital assignments and this gives them the opportunity to incorporate coloring in math class for middle schoolers. Something different for them to do.
Made me sad that the students didn't want to do the coloring. Teenagers. They still completed the problems accurately. Good variety of problems.
I know my students will love practicing simplifying expressions when they get to color afterward. This is such a cute picture and perfect for the Spring weather.
