Description

This sample kit contains enough resources for your students to embark on learning based inquiry on a topic that will be engaging and real world applicable. Students will learn about what they would need and how to make a kite.

Have these materials available: sheets of brightly colored copy paper (1 per student), bamboo shiskababab sticks (1 per student), masking tape, surveyors flagging tape, 6 to 8 feet of string per child, 20 1x3 pieces of cardboard for the string, scissors, hole punch, fishing spinners (optional)

Reading passage will get students interested in the topic.

An instructional video can be accessed with the shortened url or the QR code.

Planning pages are provided to get students thinking about the project before just jumping in.

Students can refer back to the video as often as needed during the planning and creating process.
