Description

Spring 3-Digit Addition with Regrouping Math Mysteries worksheets are engaging, fun math activities designed for one class period. There are 5x Spring Math Mysteries in this pack. At the top of each worksheet is a story to set the mystery scene. Students then answer the questions to narrow down the suspects and options until they have solved these fun daily math questions.

Spring Math Mysteries Included

  • Spring Flowers for the Teacher
  • Acts of Kindness
  • Spring Clean
  • The Missing Raincoat
  • The Missing Toy

These three-digit addition with regrouping worksheets provide an opportunity to practice mathematical and problem-solving skills in a more practical context. The high-interest topics of spring day fun in these mysteries are highly motivating for this age group and will capture their imagination.

These Spring Math Mysteries are designed for 1st-grade, 2nd-grade, and 3rd-grade students. They could also be used with struggling 4th-grade students who need a little extra work and reinforcement with adding. I also leave some of the mysteries for my sub teacher.

Math Mysteries are an independent escape room (or crack the code) type of activity where students identify suspects with puzzles and word problems, instead of using locks
