- Roll & Cover - roll a color dice and cover the color bird that matches
- Spin & Graph - use the spinner to see how many eggs each mama bird will have in her nest
- 8 Color Bird Clip Cards - Use clips to match each bird to its color
- Color Word & Picture Puzzles - use a picture of a mama bird and her nest to spell out the color word
- Color "Egg" in Nest Sort - Match each mama bird to her nest and sort the "eggs" (pom poms)
- Color the Room - arrange word and picture cards around the classroom and have students color a bird on their recording sheet as they find each one
- Write the Room - arrange the word and picture cards around the classroom and have students write each color words as they find them
