Description

This activity packet provides parents with 5 different ideas for sharing, enjoying, and practicing skills that their child has been taught at school. This packet includes a parent letter that explains each activity listed below.

-Alphabet Letters for students to cut, mix, and put in order. Students are also encouraged in the letter to take turns using the alphabet letters to spell CVC words.
-Small Number Cards for students to cut, mix, and put in order.
-Large Number Cards for parent and child to play WAR (I print these on cardstock for the families).
-Hundred's Chart for practicing counting from 1-100 plus a suggestion for families to watch Jack Hartmann's Counting to 100 song.
-Writing Paper to draw and write about something they did over their break.
-The cover letter also informs parents that each child chose 5 books to take home that they want to share/read with their family.

Great ideas! I would have really liked it if the letter was editable, but I made it work. My students were really excited for the activities!
