Description

This subtraction within 10 math craft is absolutely PERFECT for spring or Easter!

Give students the basket craft mat, one page of carrots, and one story problem to glue onto their basket.

1) Students will color their basket

2) Students will color their carrots

3) Students will complete the story problem by inserting numbers into the story. This is a subtraction within 10 problem. See preview for a look.

4) Students will glue the story problem to the basket.

5) Cut out the carrots

6) Glue the appropriate amount of carrots in and out of the basket to illustrate their story problem.

This makes an excellent display!

NOTE: before I gave the basket mat to my littles - I glued it to a piece of construction paper. It added a pop of color but also gave them more room to add their carrots! The displays were AWESOME!

ENJOY!
