Description

This cute spring craft and growth mindset activity is great for the end part of the year. Students can reflect on how much they have grown and learned. They will also write about what they want to learn and accomplish. The large, thick-lined graphics make a great classroom display. Hang them on the bulletin board, or dangle them from the ceiling!

Be sure to check out the video to see it in action and the preview for a glimpse.

  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Crayons
  • Ribbon or string

Here's what is included:

  • Umbrella top (add name)
  • Umbrella handle
  • Umbrella-shaped lined paper insert
    • 4 versions (primary lined and single lined, with and without sentence start)

  • Raindrops (two options)
    • 3 per page
    • 2 per page

Print 5 pages per student, recommended cardstock for everything except the lined paper insert.

Approximate size: From top to end of handle it is approximately 16 inches long. Then you will want to add another 2-3 inches for the raindrops. I dangle them at different heights. The shortest measuring around 13-14 inches and the longest raindrop around 18 inches. You can adjust the length of the raindrops to fit your space. The handle can also be made shorter by gluing more of it to the back if needed. At it's widest across it is about 9.5 inches.

Happy spring, crafting, and growth!
