Description

Are you looking for a fun way to keep your students engaged this spring? Send them a digital puzzle!

Digital Spring Puzzles are a great way to motivate students to think critically. The puzzles are challenging, but fun! Students must study the seasonal images and determine the value of each image, based on the values provided. They will need to add, subtract, multiply, divide, plus use logical thinking and visual discrimination skills. The puzzles require perseverance, which will improve with practice.

These puzzles are completely digital. The download includes 10 Google Form links for 10 digital puzzles (includes 3 emoji puzzles, 3 balance puzzles, and 4 grid puzzles- see preview). Just click to save a copy of each puzzle to your own Google Drive. Then, send your students a link to the form via Google Classroom, email, or another secure online learning platform (with logins). Do not share the links on an open site on the Internet. Students can solve the puzzle and submit the answer back to you, digitally. Directions for use are included.

My students absolutely LOVE these digital puzzles. Many of them have told me this is their favorite thing we've done this year. HIGHLY engaging, very well done, and sets the stage beautifully for thinking algebraically. My favorite feature is that students cannot move on until they have correctly solved each puzzle. Great for perseverance!
