Spring Activity
Graphic Organizer
Take your students on a springtime walk outside to purposely note what they observe in this coming season! Using this FREE graphic organizer, students will note what they see, hear, smell, and WONDER -- all wonderings are welcome! You could model using this graphic organizer by placing this document on the overhead and writing things you expect students might see, hear, and smell as you walk around outside, noting grade level-appropriate questions in the WONDER category such as "I wonder how the trees know that spring is coming" or "I wonder how the process of photosynthesis begins" (depending on the age of your students as well as the content of what you might be teaching in science in the upcoming unit).
