Description

These file folder activities are great for preschool and kindergartners to practice letter matching, color identification, number matching and more standards-aligned basic skills. The matching activities also work well for special education settings and students working on basic literacy and math skills in counting and letter identification.

This set of printable matching activities makes 8-11 colorful file folder games for practicing basic letter and number skills. The colorful graphics are both engaging for students, but simplified to assure they attend to the relevant material (i.e., the letter or number targeted).

Who Are They For?

These printables will make great tools for centers in preschool and kindergarten classrooms. Perfect for special education as they are particularly tailored for structured or independent work systems for students with autism and related disabilities as well.

With Velcro they have a clear beginning and end and will stay together when completed and put in the finished basket. Once students have mastered the concepts, they make a great generalization tool for them to practice their letter and number skills.

Features

❤️ Each file folder focuses on a single basic matching skill. Skills include matching colors to the color word, matching numeral to numeral, counting and matching numerals to sets, matching uppercase and lowercase letters, and more.

The graphics in each each printable file folder game are kept consistent to assure that the student is focused on the targeted skill. For instance, all the letters are on the same color frog so that the student doesn't learn to match the colors instead of the letter.

What's Included?

  • 1 file folder matching six colors
  • 1 file folder matching colors to color words
  • 1 file folder matching capital letters to capital letters
  • 1 file folder matching capital letters to lowercase letters
  • 1 file folder matching lowercase letters to lowercase letters
  • 1 file folder matching numbers to numerals (1-20) (this could be split into 2)
  • 1 file folder matching numbers to sets (1-20) (this could be split into 2)
  • 1 file folder matching numbers to number words (1-20) (this could be split into 2)
