Counting Math Task Cards: Counting Flower Petals

These spring flower themed task cards can be used to help students with counting and matching quantities for numbers 0-10. These go well with a Spring or Gardening theme for preschool or kindergarten students.

What's Included:

  • 11 Task Box Cards
    • Count the petals on the flower, then match the butterfly/number next to the flower.
  • 11 Butterfly Numbers
  • 1 task box cover

Two Ways to Play & Differentiate:

  1. Match the Butterfly: Students count the petals and find the corresponding butterfly numeral to place in the square. (Ideal for students working on visual matching and fine motor skills).
  2. Write the Number: Laminate the cards and have students use a dry-erase marker to write the numeral independently in the box. (Ideal for students working on number formation and writing).

The task cards print in color and 2 to a page or 4x6 size.

Laminate the cards for durability.
