Spring Math Greater Than, Less Than, Equal To
Fred the frog is very hungry. Pick two lily pads. Can you feed him the lily pad with the most flies? What a delicious treat.

Common Core Skill:
Your students will learn to identify if the number of objects in one group is greater than, less than, or equal to the number of objects in another group.

Game Play:
Pick a greater than, less than, or equal to board. Pick two lily pads. Count the lily pads. Put the lily pad with the most flies on the board. Place it on the lily pad that Fred the frogs tongue is facing. Write the number of both lily pads in the empty box. Compare the numbers by reading what you wrote out loud.

Differentiated Instruction:
There are two different types of ways that the numbers are displayed. This helps various students count the flies. Also there is a place where students can make their own lily pads. Students can challenge themselves by putting more flies on the lily pads then comparing the amounts. Examples for students are also included.

Product Includes:
• Teacher Lesson Plan
• Ten Frame Lily Pads (0-10)
• Line Array (0-10)
• Equal To Game (10 Frame and Line Array Lily Pads)
