How to Use:
1. Prepare the Folder
- Use a standard file folder.
- Fold the two sides inward to create a trifold lapbook.
2. Print & Cut the Templates
- Print all lapbook pages on regular white paper or light cardstock.
- Students cut out the cover, flaps, writing prompts, flower drawing page, and seasonal sections.
3. Build the Lapbook Sections
- Glue the lapbook cover on the front.
- Place the Signs of Spring flaps on one inside panel.
- Add the Spring Averages section and seasonal writing prompts inside the folder.
- Glue the Spring Flowers drawing page and additional activities wherever you prefer to complete the layout.
4. Fill in the Information
- Students complete each section:
- Write when spring begins and ends.
- Respond to “Spring makes me feel…”
- Write about their favorite spring activity.
- Record information about precipitation, day length, and temperature.
- Identify signs of spring under the flaps.
- Draw and label tulip, daffodil, crocus, and hyacinth flowers.
5. Display or Send Home!
Use the completed Spring lapbooks for:
✔ hallway displays
✔ science presentations
✔ spring bulletin boards
✔ seasonal writing showcases
✔ take-home spring keepsakes
