Description

Make solving 3-digit addition and subtraction fun this spring with escape rooms! This self-checking digital escape room activity will have your second graders adding & subtracting within 1,000.

There are two student activities in this resource:

1. 3-digit addition within 1,000 (with & without regrouping)

2. 3-digit subtraction within 1,000 (with & without unbundling)

As students answer each question, they'll be able to unlock more questions. Eventually revealing a code at the end which they'll need to solve by unscrambling the letters to win!

  • perfect for early finishers or math centers
  • and they also work great as assigned sub work!

I tutor a group of second graders and they loved doing this activity to review three digit addition and subtraction! They were engaged, and the prep was much more simple than some escape room style activities!
